Essex County Council are the authority responsible for most of the street lighting in the Borough. They are not responsible for street lights on private roads.

Part night lighting
Please note that Brentwood Borough Council is not responsible for the decision to provide only part-night lighting throughout most of the Borough between 12am-5am.
If you wish to voice your concerns about part-night street lighting, we ask that you please contact Essex County Council which is responsible for all matters regarding part-night street lighting.
