Modern Slavery

Modern slavery is the illegal exploitation of people for personal or commercial gain. It can include human trafficking and slavery, criminal exploitation, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, as defined in the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Victims can be any age, gender, ethnicity, or nationality. They may be too frightened to seek help themselves and are often led into their situation under false pretences. Find further information on Modern slavery.
