Family Fun Days return to keep children entertained this August

Date

Our Family Fun Days are back in August at locations across the Borough - to help keep children entertained during the summer holidays.

Our Family Fun Days kick off on Friday 2 August at Mountnessing Coronation Playing Fields, offering a full schedule of activities for families. Aimed at children under 12, a £5 wristband gives access to a whole host of funfair rides, sports, crafts, Punch & Judy shows, dance workshops and many more fun activities.

In addition to the wristband activities, there will be other activities on offer for an additional fee, including face painting and animal handling. Food and drink will be available, ensuring there’s something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Local service providers, sports clubs, and charities will be offering support and information.

Councillor Dr Tim Barrett, Chair of Brentwood Borough Council’s Housing, Health & Community Committee said, “We are excited to bring back our Family Fun Days next month and we hope the weather plays ball! With fun rides, sports, face painting and so much more, these days are going to be a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. We are working with a range of partners, and we would like to extend a big thank you for their sponsorship and support in bringing great entertainment and activities to families in the Borough.”
