Brentwood Community and Voluntary Services

Brentwood Community and Voluntary Service (formerly Brentwood Council for Voluntary Service) has supported local voluntary groups and improved community wellbeing for over 30 years. Our mission is to strengthen the voluntary sector, address social needs, and foster a connected, resilient community through three main pillars:

  • Brentwood Volunteer Hub: We connect individuals with volunteering opportunities that match their skills, empowering them to contribute meaningfully, while supporting local organisations in delivering vital community projects.
  • Capacity Building and Governance: We provide governance support to local groups, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and help them secure funding to expand their services.
  • Wellbeing Hub (at Merrymeade House): We run health and wellbeing projects that tackle loneliness and mental health challenges, improving the quality of life for vulnerable individuals and promoting community engagement.
